Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is an iconic theme park that pays homage to one of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands. Situated on Yas Island, this architectural marvel was designed to embody the spirit of Ferrari while contributing to Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming a top global tourist destination. Opened in 2010, Ferrari World stands out not only for its world-class entertainment but also for its innovative design, inspired by the sleek lines of a Ferrari GT.
The park spans 176,000 square meters, making it the largest indoor theme park in the world. Its signature red roof reflects the Ferrari brand’s iconic color and covers some of the most thrilling rides in the world, including Formula Rossa, the fastest roller coaster on the planet, reaching speeds of 240 km/h.
Built with sustainability in mind, Ferrari World’s architects, Benoy, incorporated energy-efficient materials like insulated metal roofing and specialized glass to combat Abu Dhabi’s desert climate. The project, spearheaded by Aldar Properties, came with a hefty price tag of $690 million, a testament to the ambition and scale of this endeavor.
Beyond its exhilarating rides, the park offers a multi-sensory experience that includes driving simulators, a karting academy, and various Ferrari-themed attractions, making it a true haven for car enthusiasts. Ferrari World has cemented its place as a key part of Yas Island’s transformation, contributing significantly to the region’s tourism.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is not just a theme park—it is a celebration of Ferrari’s legacy, offering visitors a unique blend of luxury, speed, and cutting-edge design.
